Who we are

Renzo Skills Ltd is the data controller for the information described here. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 17084776.

If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email the Renzo team.

What we collect

When you pay a deposit we collect your full name, your email address, the programme and cohort start date you choose, and the amounts you pay.

Your card details are entered on a checkout page run by Stripe, our payment provider, and go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number or security code. Stripe shares a limited set of payment details with us, such as the card type, the last four digits, the expiry date, the billing country and postcode, and whether the payment succeeded.

We also keep a record of when you agreed to our terms and refund policy, the payment reference, and your personal balance payment link.

How we use it, and our lawful basis

To take your payment, reserve your place on a cohort, send you your receipt and balance payment link, and remind you when your balance is due. Our lawful basis is that this is necessary to perform our contract with you, or to take steps at your request before entering into one.

To check that a deposit comes from someone who has been offered a place, by matching your email address to the record we already hold from your application. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: making sure the limited places on each cohort go to accepted applicants.

To keep financial records of the payments you make. Our lawful basis is our legal obligation to keep accounting records.

To deal with refunds, disputes and suspected fraud. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, and our legal obligations.

Marketing

This payment site does not ask for marketing consent and we do not use it to send you marketing. Any marketing preferences you gave us before, for example when you took our quiz, stay as they are, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies.

Stripe sets its own essential cookies on its checkout page to process your payment securely and to prevent fraud. These are covered by Stripe's privacy policy.

To display this site, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts and styling code from a content delivery network. These providers receive your IP address so that they can send the files to your browser.

Who we share it with

Stripe, which processes your payment, keeps the payment record and sends your receipts.

GoHighLevel (HighLevel Inc.), our customer relationship system, which holds your contact record and payment status and sends our emails and messages about your place.

Vercel, which hosts this website.

Google, which provides the fonts used on this site.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place, such as the UK addendum to the standard contractual clauses.

We may also share information where the law requires it, for example with HMRC.

How long we keep it

We keep payment records, and your contact record as a student, for as long as you are with us and for six years after your last payment or refund, to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

If you start a payment but do not complete it, Stripe keeps a record of the unfinished checkout. We do not use it for anything other than managing places on the cohort.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, and to ask us to delete it. You can object to us using it for our legitimate interests, ask us to restrict how we use it, and ask for it in a portable format.

Some rights are limited where we have to keep information by law. For example, we cannot delete a record of a payment you made while we are required to keep it.

To exercise any of these rights, email the Renzo team. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
